Conflating shareholder legal actions (what are reasonable and unreasonable allocations between business owners and remunerations) and the regulation of business information (lying in business is not excused because everyone does it) with a feminist conspiracy is a bit far fetched. It reads as though "woke" is anything that billionaires don't like.
I read that, but still don't see why there is a link with defending the financial gains of billionaires and their entitlement to be dishonest. What is the point of criticising dishonest campaigning by feminists but defending dishonest business practice from accountability?
Did you actually read the article? I suspect not. "Most people look at the numbers here and think it an obscene amount and applaud it.
What they don’t know is that Musk drew up the package in 2018 and it was exclusively tied to performance. There was no cash bonus, no salary. Musk was sleeping on the floor of his Tesla office at the time.
Stipulated in the package, if the company only doubled the stock price, Musk got NOTHING. but if IF he increased revenue and sales, only then would be get 1% more of outstanding shares. This was a zero-sum deal that most pundits at the time thought “crazy”.
Musk did not take a salary or bonuses. His risked everything and even said if he doubled the stock he still would not take anything. He raised the stock 800% and made his shareholders very rich. He risked everything. This is the opposite of crony capitalism. He also enriched the world with his technology. But yet, all you can think of is that it's unfair because he got 1% of what he created?
Women are also just as corruptible by money as men!
