It's nice to hear someone inside the academy acknowledge just how far gone the institutions are. I pay attention to a lot of center-left academics, who are fed up with wokeness, that are constantly trying to declare, "we've turned a corner" any time some common sense thing barely wins out over some insanity. They have no idea what it would actually entail to "turn a corner." Thousands of mentally ill people entrenched in the social sciences, humanities and university administration losing their jobs Most wouldn't need to be replaced but any influx of conservatives would be covered like it was the Vandals sacking Rome.
